Located in the scenic town of Buffalo Gap, the Buffalo Gap Historic Village is an award-winning open-air history museum which brings the West Texas Frontier alive with over a dozen original buildings and scores of historical artifacts. It is the physical setting of the Texas Frontier Heritage and Cultural Centerl™, which owns and operates it. It is also a unique and popular venue for meetings, lectures, and special educational programs. Even if you aren’t attending one of these special events, you can enjoy your tour of the premises with our custom-prepared sound wands, which guide you through the attractions of the Village at your own pace.
